Ghetto Gardeners is a community-centered garden program rooted in Turlock, California. Through Westside Ministries, we bring children, youth and families together to learn, grow and connect through gardening, food, creativity, and community care.

What started as seeds in the soil has grown into something bigger: a space where young people can learn practical skills, understand where food comes from and take pride in helping something grow. Ghetto Gardeners is about more than gardening. It is about building responsibility, confidence, connection and love for the community.
